![]() I'm hoping that people see and read this thread and jump in with whatever they can offer, be it suggestions or whatever else they can put in to help. I'm no programmer and thus do not have the means to repair the software myself, but I want to do whatever I can to help those that do. That is why I created this thread, so we as a community can seriously discuss how we can restore the program back to it's former condition. This is what I used OVRIE for, but I know the program was capable of much more than just that. SteamVR's native input remapper doesn't let me do what I want to do either. i installed openvr input emulator and openvr advanced settings put it is not working.my open vr shows this. OVRAS has some PTT functionality as well, but it's more of an awkward and highly cumbersome workaround. HelpHow do you make playspace mover work. I relied on this feature to make a genuine push-to-talk function for Discord when using my Vive. Most notable in my case is the loss of the ability to remap any of my Vive wands' inputs except the trackpad and trigger axes.īefore it was broken by SteamVR updates, I was able to use OVRIE to remap any button on my Vive wands, including the system button, to a multitude of alternative functions, including keyboard input. Unfortunately, despite OVRIE having also been forked by SharkyH20 to a state where it can technically be used again, it is still missing important functionality. As far as I can tell, OVRAS is in a good place right now thanks to the efforts of IceWind and Ykeara creating their own forks of the original program. As likely everyone knows by now, OpenVR Advanced Settings (OVRAS) and OpenVR Input Emulator (OVRIE) were negatively affected by SteamVR updates since the last time they were updated by their creator, matzman666. Also, I don't see why I shouldn't care about having a +1000€ product working as intended while there's still a warranty covering it.I see that the cameras might not be a core feature but yet they included them into the headset and intended them to be working so I'm not seeing my self being fine paying the full price for a "broken" headset.Hello, everyone. That's why I went to contact Valve support about it and after 3 weeks of troubleshooting and still no fix, they decided to send me a new one which I'm awaiting any day now. They never worked on this one though, even after a complete clean reinstall of Windows and firmware reset of the HMD. And they really brought a huge quality of life improvement being able to see my surroundings with the click of a button. however it seems to want to stay in desktop for whatever reason. Unless someone made a program to feed that tracking data back into SteamVR or to an Oculus over Bluetooth or link cable. If you're trying to use that to play VR then i doubt you're going to get far with it. Programs and examples aren't hard to find. The VR is working fine, I can see overlays from OVR and my playspace from steam. There's plenty of programs that show hand tracking with webcams. The cameras on the first one worked perfectly fine though, in almost every circumstance. SO when launching ViRo I seem to be having this issue where it doesnt want to track my VR. This was already my second headset, the first one failed me completely after only a few hours of playtime, being unable to connect to my PC and freezing the whole system due to a failing display controller. I did, it was not about them working only sometimes, they never worked. We don't allow memes, or URL shorteners. KinectToVR works perfectly, doesnt make my feet and legs point in weird directions if I use playspace mover, and the rotational tracking of feet is definitely superior to Driver4VR.Self-promotion is allowed for game developers and YouTube personalities, please read further below. No buying, selling, begging, giveaways or crowd-funding.Low effort posts that are not allowed include shipment notification, arrival and unboxing photos. I started out with 1, 1, and -1 and adjusted from there on my offsets. ![]() Get the throwing knives in Gorn, or find a level where you toss stuff to start out in Super Hot.
